Two makeup designs for Miss Havisham
Here are two makeup designs for my Miss Havisham for the
assessment. Below are my two face charts and some notes about both of the
designs.
Below are some images of the two basic elements of what these two designs would include. These are the two makeup looks that I practiced on myself have the different main elements that I would want my Miss Havisham to have. By working with designs on myself I realized flaws in the makeup looks that I then changed and developed in my two final makeup designs below.

| Elements of first design |
| Elements of second design |
For my first Miss Havisham design I wanted to create a
ghostly and dusty makeup look. This looks would have a very pale base using a
white grease paint that is mixed with a small amount of black, creating a grey
base. The eye area of this makeup design would be red, giving the impression of
an ill looking eye. I would also want this design to be very dry, I would
create crusty lips by using liquid latex on the lips and then Supracolour to
add soreness to the area.
For this makeup design I would also heavily powder the face
to give a dry and dusty like effect. The face would also have a small amount of
darker grey as a contour on the cheeks. I would also lighten the eyebrows using
a yellow tone and darken the eye area also using Supracolour.
Second makeup design
For my second Miss Havisham design I wanted to create a
fever like makeup look. Fairly similar to the feverish makeup design we were
shown in a practical lesson. The eye area of this design would also be red,
like an ill looking eye using Supracolour. I would also use latex on the lips
to give the effect of dry lips.
This design of Miss Havisham would also have raised red
spots on the face by using duo and Supracolour. If I was to choose this makeup
design for my assessment I would keep the base very simple. I wouldn’t appy any
foundation or anything underneath the fever like makeup look.
For the Miss Havisham assessment I have chosen to use my
first makeup design asI think that the first makeup design will work better
with my hair design.
