My main makeup inspiration for Estella
All of these images on this blog post were found on Pinterest. I want to base my makeup designs around these images and develop them to create my Estella. I wanted to begin looking at makeup looks that have already used butterflies as props for the makeup looks.
This image on the left really stuck out to me. I love the colours that have been used as well as the butterfly as a prop.
The makeup used for this image is using a lot of highlighting and contouring on the face. I will include highlighting and shading into my Estella design as I think that it will stand out a lot for black and white photography.
On the right here is portrait photography of
Natalie Portman for Esquire Mag by Robert Maxwell which was taken in August 2004. As this is in black and white the shading around Portman's face has really inspired me.
From looking at black and white contemporary images I think that it has helped me to develop an eye for colour and what works well for black and white photography.
Below is an image which is like a makeup tutorial of what areas of the face to highlight and contour to bring out the features of the face.
