Introduction to Claudia and Quentin – gothic horror fashion

For the last part of this assignment I will be exploring more into gothic horror fashion. Two characters called Claudia and Quentin will be my main focus of my blogging, I will still be using references of Gothic Horror for inspiration.

Claudia and Quentin will need to be created for a Music video, therefore I will be exploring all types of music videos that have reference of gothic horror within them.

About Claudia and Quentin

Claudia is a young woman in her twenties. As a child she was left alone a lot, therefore didn’t have much parental guidance. In her younger years she developed an unhealthy love for horror films, she began to believe that horror films were reality.

All the scenes of the music video would be to take place in her apartment. Due to her amazement with horror movies she often dresses like the characters from the movies she watches. I will research horror films that I can reference for my creation of Claudia.

Quentin is Claudia’s imagery boyfriend. Just like her own appearance Quentin’s appears different depending on Claudia’s mood and vision.

During our introduction lesson to Claudia and Quentin Sharon (my lecturer) showed us some music videos open up our thoughts about the tasks. Below are the music videos she showed us that have elements of gothic horror.
